There are several ways to get involved with the Police Department. The PVE Police Department depends on volunteers to ensure success in both our sponsored and partnered community programs.
Volunteers are used to assist in Disaster Preparedness, PVE-CARES and Neighborhood Watch.
In addition to the above programs, various community events often have a need for volunteers to assist in their success.
For further information, Contact Community Relations Officer Merlin David at (310) 378-4211.
The PVE Police Department holds a gun safety course several times a year for PVE residents. This course provides basic information regarding firearm nomenclature, function, variations, and firearm laws.
For more information on the firearm course, contact a member of the PVEPD Range Staff at (310) 378-4211.
