SPECIAL MEETING OF THE INVESTMENT POLICY ADVISORY COMMITTEE
OF THE CITY OF PALOS VERDES ESTATES

The Investment Policy Advisory Committee is a new committee, effective July 1, 2017. With the City Treasurer, the Committee shall be responsible for recommending investment brokers, proposing changes to investment policy and practices, presenting investment reports, and evaluating and recommending banking-related matters. Meetings are to review, discuss and develop recommendation on matters such as investment and banking vendors, policy, transactions, returns and performance, brokers, and strategy. The Investment Policy Advisory Committee, at the direction of the Chairman with concurrence of the Committee, may modify the order of items shown on the agenda.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the chair has called a special meeting of the Investment Policy Advisory Committee. The meeting will be called to order at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. The agenda for the special meeting with the items of business to be transacted or discussed is set forth below.
Any person having any question concerning any agenda item may call the City Clerk to make an inquiry concerning the item. CONFIRMATION, COMMUNICATION AND POSTING REGARDING THE FOLLOWING MEETING SCHEDULE AGREED UPON AT THE APRIL 19, 2023, IPAC MEETING: MEETINGS OF THE INVESTMENT POLICY ADVISORY COMMITTEE SHALL BE HELD QUARTERLY, ON THE WEDNESDAY FALLING CLOSES TO, BUT NOT LATER THAN, THE 45TH DAY AFTER THE END OF EACH FISCAL QUARTER. FURTHER, THE MEEGINGS SHALL BE HELD AT 3:00 PM, AT PALOS VERDES CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, LOCATED AT CITY HALL, 340 PALOS VERDES DRIVE WEST, PALOS VERDES ESTATES, CA 90274. MEETING DATES FOR THE REMAINDER OF CALENDAR YEAR 2024 SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS:: • May 15, 2024 • August 14, 2024 • November 13, 2024
