CALL AND NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

To the Members of the Traffic Safety Committee of the City of Palos Verdes Estates:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Committee Chair has called a special meeting of the Traffic Safety Committee Meeting. The meeting will be called to order at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. The agenda for the special meeting with the items of business to be transacted or discussed is set forth below.

COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC Members of the audience are invited to address the Committee at this time on items that are not otherwise on the agenda. Per the California Government Code Section 54954.2, the Traffic Safety Committee is prohibited from discussing or taking immediate action on any item not on the agenda unless it can be demonstrated that the item is of an emergency nature, or the need to take action arose subsequent to the posting of the agenda.

OLD BUSINESS

1. PALOS VERDES DRIVE WEST CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

Recommendation: That the Traffic Safety Committee (1) Review and confirm the direction provided by the Traffic Safety Committee at the November 8, 2023 Traffic Safety Committee meeting relating to possible traffic improvements of the Palos Verdes Drive corridor; and (2) Review and approve the Action Minutes the November 8, 2023 Traffic Safety Committee meeting.

Recommendation: Receive staff presentation.
