APPROVE AMENDMENT NO. 7 TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR BUILDING AND SAFETY, ENGINEERING, AND PUBLIC WORKS SERVICES WITH HR GREEN PACIFIC, INC. (HR GREEN) MODIFYING THE TERMS FOR INVOICING AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AMENDMENT Recommendation: That the City Council approve Amendment No. 7 to the Professional Services Agreement (PSA) for Building and Safety, Engineering, and Public Works Services with HR Green Pacific, Inc. (HR Green) modifying the terms for invoicing and authorize the City Manager to execute the Amendment.

R23-51 AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO CAST VOTES FOR ALL FUTURE PALOS VERDES HOMES ASSOCIATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTION BY RETURNING THOSE BALLOTS STAMPED WITH THE CITY SEAL AND INDICATING PRESENT ON THE BALLOT WITHOUT VOTING FOR ANY PATICULAR CANDIDATE Recommendation: That the City Council adopt resolution No. 23-51.

ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. R23-51 APPROPRIATING UNENCUMBERED GENERAL FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $78,500 FOR RECRUITMENT OF CHIEF OF POLICE, FINANCE DIRECTOR, AND CITY CLERK AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXCUTE ALL CONTRACT DOCUMENTS WITH BOB MURRAY & ASSOCIATES Recommendation: That the City Council adopt resolution No. 23-51, authorizing unencumbered general funds in the amount of $78,500 and authorizing the City Manager to execute all contract documents with Bob Murray & Associates for executive recruitment of the Chief of Police, Finance Director, and City Clerk.

SPECIAL EVENT APPLICATION OF THE LUNADA BAY HOMEOWNERS’ ASSOCIATION TO HOLD ITS “SANTA IN THE PARK” EVENT AT LUNADA BAY PARK ON WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 13, 2023 Recommendation: That the City Council approve the Special Event Application submitted by The Lunada Bay Homeowners’ Association for the Santa in the Park event held at Lunada Bay Park and the adjacent street of Via Anacapa on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.

CONSIDER A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING UNENCUMBERED GENERAL FUND BALANCE (FUND 01) IN THE AMOUNT OF $35,000 AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE AGREEMENT WITH NV5 FOR SAMPLING AND TESTING SERVICES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $35,000 FOR A TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $61,000 Recommendation: That the City Council: (1) Adopt a Resolution appropriating unencumbered General Fund Balance (Fund 01) in the amount of $35,000; and (2) Authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement with NV5 for sampling and testing services in an amount not to exceed $35,000 for a total contract amount not to exceed $61,000.
