PROPOSED BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023/24 Recommendation: That the Finance Advisory Committee hear a report from the City’s budget consultant and staff regarding the proposed General Fund budget for fiscal year 2023/24, consisting of a recap of the October 24, 2023, City Council budget workshop, the proposed process for developing the fiscal year 2023/24 capital improvement program budget, and a listing of projects for the 5-year capital improvement plan.

2.	PROJECTION OF REVENUE NEEDS Recommendation: That the Finance Advisory Committee provide feedback and recommendations regarding revenue needs to address the fiscal impacts of the pending expiration of the public safety parcel tax (Measure E) in June of 2027.
