DISCUSS REVENUE OPTIONS TO REPLACE MEASURE E Recommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council discuss potential sources to replace the revenue provided by the Palos Verdes Estates Measure E scheduled to sunset in Fiscal Year 2026-2027 and provide direction to staff. The Council may direct staff to research and bring back options for retaining a consultant to assist in evaluating options for a ballot measure, or other funding sources. The Council may also choose to direct the Finance Advisory Committee to work with staff on these issues.

MALAGA COVE AREA REPORTS OF WATER INTRUSION Recommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council: (1) Adopt a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Palos Verdes Estates, California appropriating $40,000 in Unencumbered General Fund Balance (Fund 01); (2) Authorize the City Manager or the City Attorney to procure and execute an agreement, in a form approved by both, to investigate potential sources of water intrusion and solutions in an amount not to exceed $20,000; and (3) Authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with NV5 for water sampling and testing services in an amount not to exceed $20,000 for a total contract amount not to exceed $26,000.
