COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC Members of the audience are invited to address the Committee at this time on items that are not otherwise on the agenda. Per the California Government Code Section 54954.2, the Traffic Safety Committee is prohibited from discussing or taking immediate action on any item not on the agenda unless it can be demonstrated that the item is of an emergency nature, or the need to take action arose subsequent to the posting of the agenda.

OLD BUSINESS

1. CONSIDER THE REQUEST FOR LUNADA BAY PLAZA ON-STREET PARKING TIME RESTRICTIONS

Recommendation: That the Traffic Safety Committee (1) Hear a report regarding the request for Lunada Bay Plaza On-Street Parking Time Restrictions; (2) Consider the information provided in the staff report; and (3) Provide direction to staff as appropriate.

2. PROVIDE RECOMMENDATIONS TO STAFF ON TOP TWO TRAFFIC PRIORITIES TO BE CONSIDERED BY TRAFFIC SAFETY COMMITTEE FOR 2024

Recommendation: Consider and discuss traffic safety organizational priorities and provide direction to staff on the top two traffic issues to be considered for 2024.

3. CONSIDER THE REQUEST FOR CENTERLINE STRIPING ON VIA SOMONTE AND VIA CONEJO

Recommendation: That the Traffic Safety Committee pass a motion denying the request to install centerline striping along Via Conejo and Via Somonte.
