The City Council welcomes and encourages public participation at the Council meetings; however, to allow for the orderly progression of business, each person wishing to comment or make a presentation shall be limited to up to three (3) minutes. Recommendation:Approve the restatement and renewal of the Concession Agreement between the City of Palos Verdes Estates and the Palos Verdes Tennis Foundation for the operation of the Palos Verdes Tennis Club. |

CONSIDERATION OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH WALKER CONSULTANTS, INC. IN AN AMOUNT OF $39,000 FOR AN INCREASED TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $62,000 AND ADOPT THE PROPOSED RESOLUTION WAIVING CERTAIN PURCHASING PROCEDURES AND INCREASING THE FISCAL YEAR 2022-23 APPROPRIATIONS BUDGET IN THE GENERAL FUND FOR CONTRACTUAL SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF $39,000.
Recommendation: Pass a Motion approving Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with Walker Consultants, Inc (Walker) in an amount of $39,000 for an increased total not to exceed amount of $62,000 and adopt Resolution waiving certain purchasing procedures and increasing the Fiscal Year 2022-23 appropriations budget within the General Fund for Contractual Services in the amount of $39,000. |

ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION R23-XX APPROVING USE OF CITIZENS OPTIONS FOR PUBLIC SAFETY (COPS) FUNDS NOT TO EXCEED $506,317 IN SUPPORT OF STAGE ONE POLICE COMMUNICATION INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADE PROJECT; AND ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION R23-XX APPROVING USE OF DRUG ASSET FORFEITURE FUNDS NOT TO EXCEED $506,317.
Recommendation: Authorize the implementation of the first stage of communication infrastructure upgrades by: 1) authorizing the City Manager to execute related documents on behalf of the City and authorizing the City Support Services Director to make such accounting entries for this purchase as deemed appropriate and; (2) adopt resolution R23-XX to approve the use of Citizens Options for Public Safety (COPS) funds not to exceed $506,317; and (3) adopt resolution R23-XX to approve the use of Drug Asset Forfeiture funds not to exceed $506,317. |
